Didgeridoo Chakra Clearing Meditation

This Chakra Clearing Workshop allows the participant to effectively clear out energetic/emotional stagnation from each of the seven major energy centers of the body. It briefly overviews the chakras and the relationship between the subtle energy system and the physical body. Joseph will play a 50+ minute journey (8 minutes in each Chakra's key) and time for questions and answers. Participants are guided to focus awareness on each chakra region as they come into the corresponding mediation, heightening their awareness of the energy center and promoting clearing while connecting with the energetic body. Joseph will play didgeridoos in the key of each Chakra, supported by complementary tones produced on concert-pitch contemporary Himlayan singing bowls. Joseph Carringer has presented on the effects of didgeridoo sound therapy for clearing energetic and emotional stagnation in the energetic body to medical/holistic professionals, undergraduate/graduate students, and wellness and healthy lifestyle seekers. In this class we will use supported relaxation as a tool to bring the body into homeostasis.  In addition, warm stones will be placed on the body to aid the release of physical and mental tension.  

Guided Pranayama (breathing exercises) and mudra (yoga hand gestures) may be used to help students rest deeply.  

All levels class, for everyone.  Long sleeves, long pants and socks are recommended for this practice. Masks are optional

In these workshops you will learn how to identify imbalances in the musculoskeletal system, which affect spinal alignment and posture. You will learn proper alignment in yoga poses to avoid injury, balancing strength and flexibility. The workshop will cover the basic principles of anatomy in order to foster a better understanding of how the bones, joints, and muscles work harmoniously.

Lilith Bailey-Kroll MFA, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, has over two decades of experience with the therapeutic benefits of yoga, she presents information straight forward and to the point. Working with her you quickly learn that what we practice is not necessarily important, but how we practice is the actual key to creating a healthy body and balance mind-body-spirit.
